Some of you guys might know how much we love to bake! We have totally been crushing on the beauty of a perfect naked cake. We decided to make one of our own. We used Tanya Burrs’ recipe for a white chocolate raspberry cake, that we decided to twist a bit to work with the ingredients we had. We struggled a little to convert the recipe to work with our American tools since the UK uses a different measuring system.
The cake ended up delicious but it was bit crumbly, we truly believe it was because we messed up conversions. The frosting was delicious but really sweet so we decided to only use half a batch for the cake. We did our best to make the cake look as pretty as possible even though it was falling apart.
All that aside it was most definitely delicious and everyone who had a slice wanted more! We definitely thought it was going to be a fail but it ended up being pretty successful and something that we would make again. Thank you Tanya Burr!
