Hey Loves! F & J here!

The final stop on our journey, PARIS! Being the total Disney lovers that we are we have already planned Disneyland Paris into our trip. We also plan to get time to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe and the usual touristy things.

And no matter how stereotypical it may sound we are also hoping to get to spend time wandering the streets, and having coffee and pastries in cafes.

Have you been to Pairs? Please let us know what you recommend us doing both in Paris and in Disneyland Paris in the comment section below. We can’t wait to hear from you!

Hey Loves,

Hamburg, the second stop on our big adventure! We are very fortunate to be staying with friends while we are there and will get lots of time to explore the city both with and without our friends to show us around. We will spend most of our time in Hamburg and get to spend both Christmas and New Years there. This will be the first time that we will not be spending Christmas with our families and though we are sad we won’t get to join in on all of our usual traditions we are excited to spend it with our friend and her family and get to experience something completely different and hopefully equally magical.

While we will have lots of time with our own personal tour guides we will also surely have plenty of time to explore the city on our own. So just like we did in our London post we wanted to check in with you and see if you have anything we should do while we are there. We’d love to see all your favorite things in Hamburg, or any city near by.

Can’t wait to hear from you!

Happy Fourth of July

Hey Loves! F & J here!

Its the Fourth of July here in America and we couldn’t be more excited. Today is the day America gained their independence. We get the day of to celebrate with our friends and family. We plan on having a little get together with buddies and ending the night watching the fireworks on the lake. We know America has been going through things that we do not agree with, or support, but we are thankful to live in a safe place, where we are free. We know we are blessed.

We hope your day is filled with delicious food, and tons of sparklers.

Hey Loves! F & J here!

Our next big trip is scheduled for this winter over the holiday season. Europe here we come! Our first stop is London. We have both always wanted to go and are extremely excited! Of course we want to do some of the touristy things i.e. see the Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the Harry Potter Studio tour but we both really want to spend some of our time there experiencing the real London. Having never been we have been talking to everyone we know who has been and Pinterest.

We only have 5 days and are staying in central London before we leave for Hamburg, the second stop on our European Adventure. We wanted to check in with you and see if there is anything that is on your “must do” list for London. We would absolutely love to get suggestions from you so we can make our first trip to London amazing and one we definitely won’t forget.

We can’t wait to hear from you!

Doing Our Part

Hey Loves! F & J here!

We care so much about the earth and all things living on it. We want to do everything we can to help keep it happy and we wanted to share some easy things you can do to join us! Let’s show the animals and the earth some love!

Reusable Straws: Did you know

“Plastic straws are really bad for the ocean. We use over 500 million every day in America, and most of those end up in our oceans, polluting the water and killing marine life. We want to encourage people to stop using plastic straws for good. If we don’t act now, by the year 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish.”(

Plastic straws are causing such a huge problem, it’s sometimes hard to think that you alone can make a difference, but if everyone of us does our part we CAN make a difference. In the week since we have gotten our reusable straws we have saved straws just between the two of us! It does take some time to get used to remembering to bring the reusable straws with you, and making sure you let the barista know that you don’t need a straw. We found ourselves being a bit forgetful at first, but we tried not to get too upset with ourselves , because we realize that it does take some time and we are doing a part helping keep straws out of the ocean and landfills each time we remember to use one. It’s definitely a great habit to be in and something we will continue to do! Get your reusable straws here!

Reusable Water Bottle/ Tumbler:

“Americans buy 29 billion water bottles a year. For every six bottles people buy, only one is recycled. That leads to a big problem given the fact that water bottles do not biodegrade, but rather photodegrade. This means that it takes at least up to 1,000 years for every single bottle to decompose, leaking pollutants into our soil and water along the way. Yuck!

As a result, U.S. landfills are overflowing with 2 million tons of discarded water bottles. And because plastics are produced with fossil fuels, not only does that make them an environmental hazard, but also an enormous waste of valuable resources.” (

Another way to make a huge impact is to use a reusable water bottle or tumbler. It is a super easy way help the environment, and there are lots of cute options out there too! 🙂 There are so many options from your classic  Contigo to one of our favorites the 50/50 insulated bottle, it really keeps the temperature very well. This is something that we’ve been pretty good about in the past and is definitely a part of our daily life. It becomes habit to bring it along and it’s nice to have water regardless of where you are. It helps the environment and helps keep us hydrated!

Reusable snack bags:

Some 4 to 5 trillion plastic bags—including large trash bags, thick shopping bags, and thin grocery bags—were produced globally in 2002. Roughly 80 percent of those bags were used in North America and Western Europe. Every year, Americans reportedly throw away 100 billion plastic grocery bags3. (Worldwatch Institute) (

Snack bags are something that we have used so mindlessly our whole lives. Since we were little we always stuck snacks or trinkets, just about everything in plastic snack bags. Lately we’ve been doing a lot of meal prep for work and have seen our pile of waste grow, so we invested in these super cute and washable snack bags. They work great and you can either hand wash them, or even stick them in the laundry. The super cute prints definitely help too!

Silicone Baking Mats:

Using silicone baking mats instead of Aluminium foil. Did you know

“The actual production process [of making aluminium foil] is where most of the waste happens. One ton of aluminum takes about 170 million BTUs to produce—about as much as 1,400 gallons of gasoline—and emits about 12 tons of greenhouse gases. It’s also very long-lasting, taking as much as 400 years to break down after it’s discarded (not to mention the fact that it’s heavier than other disposable wraps)” (

We all know about recycling aluminum cans but no one talks about recycling aluminum foil, it ends up in the garbage after you use it. These baking mats work extremely well and are a good conductor of the heat so that things cook evenly, while also saving you from using all that aluminum foil and also saving all of the materials that go into packaging the foil for sale. You can buy some baking mats here!

One of the biggest things we can do is make sure that we are recycling everything that we can! We have recycling bins in our houses, we know where to take our batteries be recycled (our local library) and which grocery stores take plastic bags for recycling (shout out to Fred Meyers). We try to recycle all that we can! To look through a site that tells you what you should and shouldn’t recycle click here.

We take pride in the fact that we are doing our part and will continue to do so every chance we can. We hope that you will join us in taking steps to help this wonderful amazing planet that we call home and all the animals that we share this earth with. We all deserve to be living in a healthy world.

Let’s make a difference! Let us know what you do to make a difference, we would love to hear. Also let us know if you found inspiration in the post to make a change in your life. We certainly hope you did!

Hey Loves! F & J here!

We just wanted to write a quick post on ASOS. Even though it seems like it’s all over the internet and everybody already knows about it, we find ourselves introducing people to the wonder that is ASOS. $19 for free shipping for a year, great prices and sales, and faster shipping than ordering something online from Target. How could we not love it!

There is always a lot of different style clothes to choose from, and we like that most of the items we order are pretty unique to clothing our friends and family have! This is not a sponsored post, just us sharing our love for the online shop! Also its nice that their clothing range in prices to fit any budget! AND just about any occasion too!

Happy Shopping!
